In the midst of the chaos of reanimating Transpiral using eTeams adrenalin I eagerly followed the plight of a team of adventurers as they crossed the Atlantic from the West of Ireland to the Artic Circle. The ship's doctor was none other than my own dad, Des, who, at 70, retired as Sligo and Leitrim county coroner this year.

Sailing was most definately not plain, as a series of mid-atlantic storms and 30ft high waves battered the Killary Flyer and her crew for days on end.

A year later the trailer for the documentary is out...

Let's hope it is smoother sailing for Transpiral II.
